2600: The Hacker Quarterly, Spring 2011

The 2011 volume, published through the year of Anonymous, which the magazine covers twice under near-identical titles and from opposite directions.

Spring runs "Why I Like E-Books," "Who is Anonymous or How to Troll the Media for Fun and Profit" and "How to Accept Payments Anonymously." It also prints "How to Find Out What the Government Knows About You," "Virtual Anti-Forensics" and "Abusing the Cloud." Summer covers "Detecting and Tracking Stealth Satellites," "Pen Testing from a Mile Away," "Securing Online Voting" and "Mobile Hacking with Android," with "How I Escaped Google." Autumn prints "Introduction to Chrome OS," "Bypassing Shell Restrictions," "Network Anonymity Through 'MAC Swapping'," "Video Game Hacking" and the story "Kill Switch." Winter adds "Who is Anonymous?," "Free Phone Numbers with Google Voice," "MAC Spoofing Your Way to Free Internet," "Hacking Refog Keylogger," "Pirating the Caribbean" and "The Piracy Situation."

The Winter issue's "Simplex Locks: Illusion of Security, Version 2.0" returns to the Autumn 1991 article of the same name after twenty years. "The Piracy Situation," in the same issue, opened an exchange that filled three articles the following summer.
