Gold Country Real Estate is a 48-page hardcover of photographs by Bryan Dooley, published by Études in a first edition of 300 copies.

Village Books lists a text by David Morris in English and French. Art Metropole credits Études Studio with the editing and design and Janvier with the image post-production. Exile Books says the book presents a selection of Dooley’s recent work, with the occasional double exposure or light manipulation in post-production adding a touch of surreality. Village Books’ own description says the layout and the pictures set up contradictory rhythms, and that working on the surface of the photograph makes each image an object in its own right rather than a record of the past.
