Handbook for Human Machines
Publication Studio Hudson
· Softcover
An artist's book by Maximilian Goldfarb that gathers visual research on how humans are extended and remade by machines.
The handbook holds two aspects of the visual research that formed Human Machine, a radio program Goldfarb produced for Wave Farm and broadcast from the FM station WGXC in New York's Hudson Valley. Together the book and the program accumulate, organize and represent developments for the extension and evolution of humans, tracing an evolving anatomy and shifting constructs of personhood. The book runs to 207 pages. Past episodes of the program are held in the Wave Farm transmission arts archive.
Goldfarb also publishes as Max Goldfarb. Publication Studio's Hudson studio published the book.
