"We Won't Play Nature to Your Culture" is the catalogue for Barbara Kruger's first major European museum exhibition, held at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London, in the winter of 1983.

The show ran from November 4 to December 11, 1983, and then traveled, including to the Kunsthalle Basel and Le Nouveau Musée in Villeurbanne. The 63-page softcover catalogue carries a preface by Iwona Blazwick and Sandy Nairne and essays by Craig Owens and Jane Weinstock, alongside numerous black-and-white reproductions of Kruger's work, a list of her prior exhibitions, and a selected bibliography. The Institute of Contemporary Arts and the Kunsthalle Basel published it jointly in 1983.

Owens's essay was an early and influential piece of writing on Kruger from within the critical circle around October magazine, framing her photomontages as a feminist critique of the image systems of advertising and mass media. The catalogue documents Kruger's work from before her signature red-and-white text pieces became widely known.
