Kiss of the Sun

A catalogue published on the occasion of Lee Mary Manning's third solo exhibition at CANADA, New York (22 November 2024 – 11 January 2025).

The 100-page book features images of framed works from the show alongside collaged photographs and digital scans of ephemera, both objects included in the exhibition and material that did not end up on the wall. Manning's practice moves fluidly between photographic registers: daily diaristic shooting, found-image collage, and the digital flatbed scan. The catalogue mirrors that working method on the page rather than presenting only the framed end-products. Designed by Joe Gilmore.
