Cuba 2009

Cuba 2009 collects Marlene Marino's photographs from Cuba, published as one of Purple magazine's small, artist-specific Purple Books.

Issued around the same time Marino was selecting images for Purple Fashion Magazine, the book presents her Cuba pictures with the loose, notebook-like editing typical of the Purple Books series -- a format built to give photographers a compact outlet outside the pages of the magazine itself, without the full curatorial apparatus of a standard photobook.
