Ninguem E De Ninguem(Limited Edition 250 Copies + signed C print)

Ninguém é de Ninguém is a 36-page photobook by the Brazilian photographer Rogério Reis, published by Éditions Bessard in 2021 as number 4 in its L’Impériale collection.

The softbound book measures 260 by 170 mm and was designed by Thibault Geffroy, with text in English. Bessard issued 250 numbered copies, marked with a sticker on the cover and sold with a signed C-print (180 by 130 mm). Reis had already published a book of the same title in 2015 with Edições de Janeiro and Olhavê, a trilingual volume of 96 pages and 38 photographs.

Reis lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, and his photographs take up urban questions in his home city with a strong grounding in photo-documentation. He worked as a photographer at Jornal do Brasil, O Globo and Veja, and was photo editor at Jornal do Brasil from 1991 to 1996. In 1999 he received the FUNARTE National Photography Prize for the series Na Lona, which became a book from Editora Aeroplano in 2001.
