Prkýnka na maso jsme uřízli
Prkýnka na maso jsme uřízli documents the first years of Czech skateboarding culture, up to 1990, through photographs and first-person accounts from people who were part of the scene.
The book combines archival and contemporary photography with interviews, including with actor Petr Forman and snowboarder Luděk Váša, to reconstruct the look and atmosphere of an underground youth culture with little existing documentation. It was published by the small Czech press Yinachi in 2013, supported by Budweiser Budvar's BU2R platform for urban culture.
Martina Overstreet and Michal Nanoru assembled the book as what reviewers describe as the first publication to capture this period of Czech skate culture in any depth, placing it alongside a small body of regional subculture documentary photobooks rather than within either author's wider individual output, which could not be independently confirmed this session.
