POSTPOSTPOST Vol. II: Real
The second volume of POSTPOSTPOST, a self-published cultural critique magazine that examines the question "what is real?" across 666 pages.
This anthology juxtaposes serious critique with internet culture. It features over 60 contributors including Bianca Censori, Jack Self, and Shumon Basar. The volume includes psychoanalytic readings of AI alongside references to MrBeast, Gaza-related commentary next to cryptocurrency tutorials, and avant-garde work beside what the editors call "brainrot theory." Academic inquiry and vernacular digital discourse are given equal weight as ways of addressing contemporary crises: algorithmic displacement, capitalism, and ecological breakdown.
POSTPOSTPOST is a self-funded cultural project. The editors describe it as "a meta-hyper-aware, critique-in-overdrive mode of cultural production." Volume I addressed reflections on a new avant-garde. This second volume uses affect as a lens for examining contemporary reality.
