Draw a Family is a 544-page survey of Julian Schnabel's paintings, published by Karma in New York in 2014.

The plates cover work made between 1973 and 2013, from the early oils on canvas to the recent flag paintings, in a clothbound hardcover with 374 color reproductions. D.A.P. distributed it. Karma also made a special edition of the same book with a unique hand-painted cover on each copy.

Schnabel was born and raised in Brooklyn. His first solo show was at the Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston in 1976, and he showed at Mary Boone Gallery in New York in 1979. Retrospectives followed at the Tate Gallery in London (1983), the Whitney Museum of American Art (1987) and the Reina Sofia in Madrid (2004). He has also directed films, among them a 1996 film about Jean-Michel Basquiat and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. Karma published a second Schnabel volume the same year, La Nil: Paintings 1998–2014, with a text by Donatien Grau.
