Peepers Patterns

Peepers Patterns pairs photographs of people caught looking out of their windows with images of pattern and repetition, published under the pseudonym Cuss This.

A man leans out in a tank top; a woman looks over a balcony ledge. These voyeuristic glimpses are interspersed with photographs of unrelated patterns, some flat and graphic, some built from three-dimensional shapes and shadow. The pairing sets the isolation of the window-watcher against the visual noise of pattern and line, running a dry, understated humor through the sequencing.

Peepers Patterns was published by the Swedish micro-press Modes Vu in February 2015 as a small-format trade paperback.
