Dashwood Books · 2017 · Paperback

Homo Viksraitis is a 2017 paperback photobook by the Lithuanian photographer Rimaldas Viksraitis, issued by Dashwood Books, the New York bookshop and small press.

Little bibliographic detail on the book's contents is available from the sources checked; it was published as a limited first edition in softcover. It is a separate title from Viksraitis's best-known book, Grimaces of the Weary Village, Photographs 1976-2006, selected by Martin Parr, and should not be confused with it.

Viksraitis (b. 1954) has worked since the 1970s photographing rural life in Lithuania's Sasnava region, and Martin Parr's championing of his work through the Grimaces of the Weary Village project brought him international recognition, including an infinity award from the International Center of Photography in 2009.
