Meta Cars

In Meta Cars, Beni Bischof turns found images of cars into distorted pictures.

He alters the images digitally and strips the shapes down until each car is a ghostly, absurd silhouette that still reads as a car. The source material draws on American muscle cars and the TV shows of the 1980s and '90s, and Bischof treats their retro cool with irony.
