This 560-page volume explores the fragmentary complexity of the current moment through eleven emergent thematic snapshots drawn from texts commissioned throughout spring 2025. Features 142 contributors including authors, artists, architects, filmmakers, poets, and educators—among them Evan Calder Williams, Fred Scharmen, Chris Murtha, Filipa Ramos, and Rory Rowan.

Each issue interweaves long-form essays, exhibition and book reviews, and critical discussions from various e-flux publications. Released January 2026, Index #8 continues e-flux's mission to capture the breadth and depth of contemporary cultural discourse in a substantial print format.
