Genieve Figgis is a 2017 monograph on the Irish painter, published by Skira Rizzoli as her first major survey.

The 159-page book collects Figgis's paintings of aristocrats, wedding parties, and domestic scenes rendered in thin, dripping acrylic, in which figures dissolve into ghoulish, half-melted forms. Alison Gingeras contributes an essay connecting Figgis's storytelling to her Irish roots, and the book includes a Q&A between the artist and Dodie Kazanjian, longtime contributing editor at Vogue.

Figgis, born in Dublin in 1972, graduated from the Gorey School of Art in 2006 and completed an MFA at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin in 2012. She built an early following by posting her paintings on Twitter, where they caught the attention of the artist Richard Prince and led to her 2014 American debut at Harpers Books in East Hampton. Her paintings rework compositions by Velázquez, Goya, Fragonard, and Boucher, and she has been represented by Almine Rech Gallery since 2015.
