You Are Here: Art After the Internet

by Omar Kholeif
Cornerhouse / SPACE · 2014 · Paperback

An anthology on how the internet changed the making of art, published as the first major book on what was then called post-internet practice.

The book grew out of the SPACE Art + Technology Programme, a yearlong residency at The White Building in London. It gathers essays and artist projects by about twenty-two contributors, among them James Bridle, Jon Rafman, Zach Blas, Erika Balsom, Sophia Al-Maria and Jennifer Chan, with a foreword by Ed Halter. Artist contributions include work by James Richards, Jamie Shovlin, Jeremy Bailey and Jon Rafman. Writers and artists give first-person accounts of working with and through the internet from the early 2000s onward.

Omar Kholeif curated the 2013 programme at The White Building and edited the volume. It was co-published by Cornerhouse and SPACE in spring 2014, with a cover designed by Sam Ashby. SPACE reports three reprints since publication.
