Published for major museum exhibitions in Switzerland and Germany, this elegant three-volume set is conceived and designed by Richard Prince himself. The two main volumes are dedicated to photography and painting, each featuring full-page reproductions representing Prince's ultimate selection of works characteristic of his oeuvre. A third insert volume contains the exhibition checklist, introductions by the museum curators, and Bruce Hainley's essay 'Imitation of Life while thinking about Richard Prince.' The large-format artist's books present over 100 color plates of Prince's appropriated, repurposed, and altered images with accompanying captions.
