Prince's Second House was a ranch-style structure in upstate New York that functioned as both gallery space and artwork. The Guggenheim Museum acquired this installation in 2005, recognizing it as a significant work blurring boundaries between architecture, sculpture, and photography. Tragically, the structure was destroyed by a lightning-caused fire in 2007. This catalog serves as the primary documentation of an important but ephemeral work, featuring photographs of the property, its interiors, and the iconic 1973 Plymouth Barracuda that was part of the installation.
