Spring/Summer 2010, from Walter Pfeiffer's home in Zurich to Justin Bond's East Village and the Koryo Hotel in Pyongyang, with an everyday-life travel supplement folded in.

Jacob Åström photographs the Koryo Hotel in Pyongyang and Marco Velardi visits Walter Pfeiffer in Zurich. Tokyo appears twice, with Yoko Amakawa on Narukiyo, an unconscious collector, and Cameron Allan McKean on Midori Araki. Juan Ignacio Moralejo photographs Leandro Erlich and Luna Paiva in Buenos Aires, Michael Bullock meets Justin Bond in New York City and Katherine Clary follows Alex Wiederin home. Thea Slotover cooks in Claudia's kitchen, Lovefoxxx writes on sunlight, Marlene Marino contributes "Classical New York City" and Mateo Kries the alchemy of the everyday. Daniel Riera photographs the Rambla del Raval, Retts Wood the Boat Club, and Imaad Wasif goes inside the secret world of the voidist. The materials study is wood, and the travel supplement covers 24 hours in Vancouver, the Japanese mountains and a Phoenix photo journal.

Apartamento was founded in Barcelona in 2008 by Nacho Alegre, Omar Sosa and Marco Velardi. By its fifth issue the pattern of the magazine was fixed: long interviews with people photographed in their own homes, a recurring study of one material, and a supplement on some part of everyday life.
