Skinhead: An Archive gathers zines, posters and film material on skinhead culture, with the printed matter selected by the artist and collector Toby Mott.

Ditto Press published it in 2014 with the Mott Collection. Mott’s Wikipedia entry describes the book as divided into sections on the original skinhead, the fascist reading of the style, the socialist counterpoint, queer skinhead culture, exploitation literature and skin girls.

Mott (born London, 1964) is a British artist and designer who co-founded the Grey Organisation, an artists’ collective of the 1980s. The Mott Collection holds more than 1,000 punk posters, flyers and fanzines. In 2013 he curated the exhibition Where Have All The Bootboys Gone? Skinhead Style and Graphic Subculture at the London College of Communication. Ditto Press also designed and printed the catalogue for his Vinyl Factory exhibition Jubilee 2012 – Sixty Punk Singles.
