Jop van Bennekom interviews Pfeiffer, whose "Super Beauties" follows; Gert Jonkers talks to Christopher Ciccone, photographed by Naomi Fisher; James Anderson interviews the stylist Simon Foxton, photographed by Alasdair McLellan; and Luis Venegas interviews the German musician Justus Köhncke, photographed by Wolfgang Tillmans. Marcelo Krasilcic shoots "Go Go," Michael Bullock and Andreas Larsson file the story "Xevi," and Didier Barroso photographs Michiel. "Why Not?" collects submissions from around the world and BUTTSTUFF closes the issue.

Pfeiffer's appearance here begins a long association: he would still be contributing to BUTT seventeen years later, in the 2022 relaunch issues.
