Summer 2003, a special oversized New York issue and the only BUTT printed outside the magazine's usual pocket format.

Gert Jonkers interviews Marc Jacobs, photographed by Willy Vanderperre, and Jop van Bennekom interviews AA Bronson, photographed by Bruce LaBruce. Danny Calvi talks to the musician Phiiliip, photographed by Hedi Slimane, and Andrew Richardson interviews the vintage couture dealer Keni Valenti. Marcelo Krasilcic photographs the porn actor Tommy DeLuca, Peter Maloney shoots Model Miek and assume vivid astro focus supplies the wallpaper. "The Gert Shirt" tracks a single shirt through seven photographers, among them Terry Richardson, Marcelo Krasilcic and Lernert Engelberts, shot in New York, Switzerland, Friesland and the Netherlands.

Sixty pages on pink paper. The editors' whole note reads: "This special issue of BUTT is about New York. It's bigger than average. Like, think big."
