BUTT Magazine #16
Summer 2006, an issue given over to sex in its many settings, seventy-six pages on pink paper.
Paul Flynn writes on Julian Ganio, photographed by Wolfgang Tillmans, who also shoots Mark Simpson for an interview by Bruce Benderson. Gert Jonkers interviews the Portland singer-songwriter Holcombe Waller, photographed by Marcelo Krasilcic, who separately files a report from Portland, Oregon. Slava Mogutin interviews the Norwegian artist Bjarne Melgaard, photographed by Daniel Riera. "Buddies" documents gay cliques in Madrid, Berlin, Sydney and Los Angeles, shot by Luis Venegas, Heinz Peter Knes, Samuel Hodge and Dino Dinco. Christophe Chemin contributes four self-portraits.
The editors' note is a list of the issue's subjects and nothing else, one of the shortest they ever ran.
