Adam Baran talks to the California portraitist Don Bachardy, photographed by Matthias Vriens; Michael Bullock interviews the Canadian twins Ian and Marc Hundley, photographed by Marcelo Krasilcic; and Danny McFadden interviews the DJ Daniel Wang, photographed by Heinz Peter Knes. Sunil Gupta contributes "1976," photographs of Christopher Street; Régis Trigano photographs the French horticulturist Xavier; Andreas Larsson shoots East London lads and, with a text by James Anderson, "Kenny the Homo Dog"; and Shaun Fletcher photographs a bartender at the New York bear bar Big Lug.

Gupta's Christopher Street pictures would return to BUTT fifteen years later, when the relaunched magazine ran an interview with him in issue 30.
