Winter 2008/09, the twenty-fifth issue, whose cover returned the magazine to an ass: Juan, born in Colombia, raised in Miami, and the intern at BUTT's New York office.

Miguel Villalobos photographed Juan at Boiler Room on 23 October 2008 and persuaded at least twenty-five other men at the bar to drop their trousers, which supplies the "25 Butts" portfolio. Michael Bullock interviews John Holland of Salem, photographed by David Benjamin Sherry; Rupert Smith telephones the punk pioneer Jayne County in Georgia, photographed by Michael Fox; Jop van Bennekom interviews the Canadian painter Paul P., photographed by Scott Treleaven; Felix Burrichter interviews and photographs Craig P. Wern; and Adam Baran interviews a Czech convert, photographed by Martin Maryska. Adrian Gaut shoots a double-sided poster of the bathrooms at The Cock in New York.

Seventy-two pages on pink paper, with a poem by Shane Allison, a recipe by Mark Owen and a note recording that the two thousandth BUTTHEAD lives in Chicago.
