Esopus Issue 14: Projects

Esopus 14 (Spring 2010) gives the whole issue to artists: twelve commissioned projects, with no essays, interviews or archival features beside them.

The projects are by Marcia Kure, Roxy Paine, Barbara Probst, Judy Pfaff, Kerry James Marshall, John O'Connor, Suzanne Bocanegra, Jared Flood, Erica Allen, Fernando Santangelo, Juri Morioka and John Baldessari. The only other item on the contents page is Tod Lippy's editor's note. The issue was printed at Printcrafters in Winnipeg in March 2010 and came with the fourteenth Esopus CD, Artists.

Lippy founded Esopus in New York in 2003 and edited and designed every issue for the nonprofit Esopus Foundation. The magazine carried no advertising and kept its editorial framing to a minimum, so that the work reached readers directly. Twenty-five issues appeared before publication stopped in 2018.
