Useful Photography #004

Useful Photography #004 is Ad van Denderen’s documentation of the posters of Palestinian suicide bombers that are put up after a bomber’s mission has been carried out.

The publisher calls it a “docartzine.” The posters are reproduced at A3 on matte paper, folded in half and bound with cotton, and a white centre fold references and translates each one. It is a color softcover. Aarsman, de Cleen, Germain, Kessels and van der Meer are credited as editors.

Of the first six issues, this is the one credited to a single photographer. The next, #005, turned to the photography of cattle.
