Kanye, Juergen & Kim

A magazine-supplement photobook in which Juergen Teller photographs Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and himself, in the French countryside in 2015.

Kanye, Juergen & Kim was issued by System as a 56-page softcover supplement to System, Issue No. 5. The pictures were made at the Château d'Ambleville in France. Teller found the château's garden too like the couple's Italian wedding. He moved the shoot to the surrounding countryside, where the picture of Kardashian posed against a pile of rubble was taken. The book is illustrated entirely with Teller's images of the three of them. Dazed described the project as one of the most bizarre pop culture moments of 2015.

Teller had photographed West earlier for the New York Times and proposed a second session that would include Kardashian. On why prominent people work with him, he has said: "They only do it because they see it in me." The shoot was also the first time he handed retouching to someone else.
