Season Three

Season Three is the third in a series of books recording Juergen Teller's ongoing collaboration with designer Nicolas Ghesquiere for Louis Vuitton.

The 224-page paperback follows Ghesquiere's Fall-Winter 2015/16 collection through 118 color photographs, mixing press-kit images, street photography and still lifes with candid backstage and bathroom scenes and runway documentation. Rather than a conventional fashion lookbook, the book applies Teller's characteristic snapshot aesthetic to the full production cycle of a collection, from studio to runway to press circulation.

The book extends Teller's long-running practice of photographing fashion from inside its working process rather than as finished editorial imagery, a mode he has developed across decades of collaboration with designers and magazines.
