Purple Fashion Magazine Issue 13 (Volume III)

Spring/Summer 2010, built as a portrait issue with the fashion pages divided by city and shot by nine photographers.

New York portraits come from Ari Marcopoulos, Max Farago, Marcelo Krasilcic, Mario Sorrenti and Terry Richardson, Los Angeles from Hanna Liden, Paris from Olivier Zahm, Tokyo from Chikashi Suzuki and London from Panos Yiapanis. Zahm and Camille Bidault-Waddington interview Sonia Rykiel; Zahm also talks to Jefferson Hack, Rita Ackermann and Philippe Sollers, Glenn O'Brien to Rob Pruitt and Alex Israel to Doug Aitken. Terry Richardson photographs Lindsay Lohan for Best of the Season, David Armstrong shoots Zac Posen and Max Farago takes Jim Goldstein. Documents run from John Richardson and Robert Longo to Navajo blankets and Paul McCarthy, and Rita Ackermann files a Marfa travel story.

Francis Picabia closes the issue as a visual essay, and Richard Kern's New York girls run alongside Zahm's night pictures.
